Real Life System
How it Works
"Eat less and exercise more" is the common formula. And there are plenty of frustrated people who will tell you it doesn't work. In fact that approach only slows your metabolism and causes fat storage.
Proper Selection
The key nutritional concepts in the Real Life System are:
- Drinking enough water
- Eating often
- Eating the correct amount
- Food Selection
1. Drinking enough water
Proper hydration is essential for every function your body performs. If you are even slightly dehydrated your body will be functioning less efficiently. You can live for 30 days or more without food, but you would die in three days without water! more»»
2. Eating often
Not eating often will cause your body to go into "starvation mode." Three or four hours after a meal, your body needs more energy. If you don't eat, it will try to preserve itself by storing energy (as fat) for future use. Then the body will convert lean muscle mass to energy, slowing your metabolism and causing stress to your kidneys and liver. more»»
3. Eating the correct amount
The secret to losing fat is not to starve your body, but to prove to it that there is energy available and therefore it doesn't need to stockpile fat.
Do this and you'll be amazed at how your body will want to shed that extra fat. It really works! On top of losing the fat and inches, you'll be healthier, have higher energy levels, cope with stress better, and never have to worry about gaining the fat back! more»»
4. Food Selection
Correct Amount
Proper food selection will lead to a healthier body, but it must be done in conjunction with the other steps listed above. If you are eating healthy foods but find you are not consuming enough calories for what your body requires, then you will not see the results you want and you will not be improving your overall health. Conversely, if you are eating too much it won't matter how healthy the foods you eat are, you will still store the extra calories as fat. more»»
