NOTE: THIS EXERCISE CAN BE DETRIMENTAL TO YOUR KNEES DUE TO A SHEAR FORCE AND SHOULD ONLY BE PERFORMED BY EXPERIENCED EXERCISERS IN A SLOW AND CONTROLLED MANNER. START POSITION:  Keep back in neutral position against seat back.  Position body so that knees line up with the pivot point of the machine.  Ensure that foot pad is on or above ankle height.  MOVEMENT:  Slowly extend knees until almost straight.  Slowly lower weight back to starting position.  Anyone with any type of knee problem is strongly urged to consult a physician prior to doing this exercise.
